Wolverhampton South West Conservatives have selected former Member of Parliament Paul Uppal to contest the seat in the 2017 General Election on June 8th.
Paul commented. “It is a pleasure to be able to contest the seat again, The choice at this election is clear; strong and stable leadership provided by Theresa May and the Conservatives, or a coalition of chaos under Jeremy Corbyn.
“I am proud of my track record across the constituency, whether it is bringing investment into Wolverhampton, or helping people fulfil their potential. One of the things I have been doing since 2015 is volunteering in the city and running workshops. This has helped young people with special needs get work experience and increase their confidence.”
"Wolverhampton is a great place but I am convinced that better days lie ahead for both the city and our country. That is why I will fight for all Wolverhampton South West residents, for better schools and hospitals, for more jobs and opportunities for our local people, or the best deal from Brexit".
